Due to being a Teacher of English for seven years, I have a vast amount of experience teaching students with a range of ability and from an assortment of backgrounds. For instance, I have taught English Language/Literature at Key Stage three, GCSE, AS/A-level and helped Key Stage two students pass 11+, improve their literacy, comprehension and SpaG before attending selective secondary schools. Therefore, whether the student has low attainment, high ability or challenging behaviour, I can guide them through their difficult exams.
In addition, I am also an experienced GCSE exam marker for English Literature and Language, which has enhanced my own teaching and enabled me to gain valuable insight into the 9-1 assessment process. Consequently, I can effectively prepare and support my tutees through their challenging exams and ensure every session suits the needs of the individual and/or organisation.
